Chavi Tauber is a resident artist of Northern Israel. Born and raised in the foothills of Meron, currently living in Safed, she has been inspired by the physical beauty surrounding her, and the spiritual beauty upon which her life is built. Chavi is currently looking for a gallery, or gift shop, or other venue who would like to pay a monthly salary for her to provide orginal art on a continuous basis.
The picture to the left is a symbolic painting of the Shepherd of Israel. The influence of the Galilee environment is plainly seen, while the delicate transparency she gives to the shepherd evokes deep feelings and emotional images. This is an oil painting on canvas.
